Started our new fab guy Kane off with a simple one on a Friday, custom twin stainless exhaust built to customer spec with supplied parts on his Mercedes G wagon.

Happy Friday! We had the pleasure of tuning this twin turbo Apache today.

Came in running quite rough, leaving running great making over 600 wheel on low boost and pump gas! Watch out for this one!

Check out this beautiful Beaumont we had the pleasure of installing a Holley terminator system and full electric high flow fuel system in the car on this 502 big block Chevy.

This was stage 1 or 2 it will be back for a procharger system and wilwood brakes next time!

The coolest part? It’s a stick shift car 😎

Everybody knows our boy Fino from JB’s. This is his turbo LS canyon.

It came in for a Holley terminator efi system, exhaust and a new screamer pipe, well that turned into a much bigger project once we got into it.

We found the 6.0 that was in the truck to be full of water and rust and fully locked up, so it got a SBE 5.3 swapped in it, a handful on other items addressed, like no catch can or BOV and a large list of wiring.

This truck is quite enjoyable to drive and makes great power on pump gas so that he can get used to driving it.
I’ll let him share the numbers.

🔧 WE’RE HIRING — WELDER / FABRICATOR / AUTOMOTIVE TECH

On-Point Performance & Automotive is looking to add another Welder / Fabricator / Automotive Technician to our team.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong fabrication skills, and is comfortable turning a welder and grinder into something worth showing off.

Ideal candidate:

* Journeyman ticket in Welding or Automotive Service Technician
* Strongly skilled and experienced in the other trade — you do not need both tickets
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Takes pride in quality, fit, finish, and doing things properly
* Performance/modified vehicle experience is a definite asset

The Job

Approximately 70% custom fabrication and welding, with the work varying from project to project.

Some of the fabrication work we regularly take on includes:

* Custom exhaust systems
* Differential builds and modifications
* Air ride systems
* Roll cages
* Turbo kits
* Custom brackets and chassis fabrication
* Performance and race car fabrication

The photos attached are a small sample of the type and quality of work we do — this is the minimum standard we expect.

Fabrication work can come in waves, and there may be days or even weeks where fabrication isn’t required. During those times, the expectation is that you’ll jump into the mechanical side of the shop and stay busy. We have multiple experienced technicians on site, so there’s always an opportunity to work alongside and assist with different projects.

NO PREP IS BACK! 🏁

We brought 4 cars, had multiple personal bests, zero broken parts, and only a few hangovers.

I’d call that a pretty successful weekend!

Josh’s car — First time back out on the 28s since adding the new torque boxes. It took us a little longer than expected to get the 4-link and shocks sorted out, but once we got it headed in the right direction, the car ran well — and Josh did some stellar driving all weekend.

Alex’s BBC/N2O truck — First time ever at the track! A few ignition gremlins are still being sorted out, but the truck put down multiple PBs, with back-to-back improvements on just about every pass. Lots of potential here!

Jack’s Capri — New car, new combo, and a new driver to the racetrack. Despite all the new variables, Jack went PB after PB, improving the time slip and the driver every pass. Great first outing!

Brett’s Camaro — First time stepping into heads-up, pro-tree racing. No aborted runs, a new MPH PB, and another racer officially hooked on heads-up racing. 😎

Four cars, four different programs, lots of learning, plenty of progress, and most importantly — everything came home in one piece.

Huge thanks to the event promoters, sponsors, and everyone who put the weekend together. It was a great event, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!
