World Grand Prix Technician: Every two years, Yamaha Motor Canada organizes a Yamaha Technician Grand Prix to increase the competency of Yamaha Techs in Toronto where the top Tech’s from across Canada compete for Canadian Champion. The winner then is on their way to Japan to compete in the Yamaha Technician Grand Prix against other top Technicians from every country in the world that Yamaha sells their products. For the first time ever, a Canadian and one of Blackfoot’s Certified Service Master Technicians was crowned World Champion in the 8th Annual Grand Prix GP Tech Challenge at Yamaha’s headquarters in Iwata Japan on Oct 17th, 2019.
