This 2nd Gen Tacoma came in ready for a proper suspension overhaul. 🔧

Radflo 2.5” extended-travel coilovers & rear shocks, JBA high-caster UCAs, 3” All-Pro rear leaf springs, diff drop, needle-bearing delete, extended brake lines and upgraded DuroBumps.

A whole bunch of maintenance while we were in there, plus a cab mount chop with pinch seam roll.

Finished off with 285/70R17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/Ts on Method 316s. 👌

Not just lifted. Set up properly.

We started building Kevin’s 1981 Toyota pickup back in 2011.

From the beginning, this truck had a purpose beyond simply building something capable. Kevin wanted to create something for his daughters. Something that would get them outside, give them adventures to share, and create a place for some really good memories together.

We were fortunate enough to be trusted with bringing that idea to life.

There is a tremendous amount of craftsmanship in this truck, and it remains one of our favourite builds. But all these years later, that isn’t the part that means the most to us.

It’s seeing pictures like these.

Seeing them out there using it. Seeing where this truck has taken them. From camping beneath a glacier and exploring trails most vehicles will never see, to wheeling Moab and KOH alongside the BCC crew, this truck has done exactly what it was built to do.

And somewhere along the way, Kevin and his family stopped feeling like customers and became close friends of ours.

There are builds you remember because of what you built.

And then there are builds you remember because of who you built them for.

This one will always be pretty special to us. ❤️
