Ironbark Training is delivering the Licence to Operate a Slewing Mobile Crane (up to 60t) as a 5-day face-to-face course at our Wagga Wagga training facility:
📍 15 Moorong St, Wagga Wagga NSW 2650

This nationally recognised unit covers the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a slewing mobile crane in line with WHS legislation and licensing requirements. A slewing mobile crane is a crane with a boom or jib that can rotate (slew), excluding loaders, backhoes, excavators or other earthmoving equipment configured as cranes.

Successful completion supports application for a C6 High Risk Work Licence (HRWL), which allows operation of slewing mobile cranes over 20t and up to 60t, and also covers CN, CV and C2 licence classes.
Note: Competency alone does not automatically grant a HRWL.

You’ll learn how to:
✔ Plan and prepare for crane operations
✔ Safely perform lifting tasks
✔ Shut down and pack up equipment

Pre-requisites: None
Students must have sufficient English skills to complete the National Assessment Instrument (NAI) without assistance.

👷 Construction (Civil, General, Plant Operations).
🦺 High-Risk Work Licensing (SafeWork NSW) - specifically DG, RB, C6, but open to applications from Trainers and Assessors who hold any licence class.

Skills & Experience:

🔸Must have:
✅ Certificate IV in Training & Assessing (TAE40116) including LLN units.
✅ Current Australian drivers licence
✅ Current Industry experience
✅ Recent training & assessment experience
✅ National Police clearance
✅ Working With Children Check
✅ Up to date knowledge of ASQA standards
