All Stars Drag & Drive was a success for our customers, all achieving PB passes and completing the driving stints with minimal hiccups.

R33 GTR LM in for a retune and tidy up!

HiPower Performance gave the LM a full pre dyno inspection and bolt check, including some revisions to the mechanical fuel pump setup for better reliability and consistent starting. The ATTESA system was serviced, as the customer felt the car was loose under power.

Onto the dyno for a baseline run, the LM made a respectable 839HP. I then started from scratch on the Emtron tune file, resulting in 932HP.

The Samsonas sequential would struggle with the flat shifting previously, so a do over of the shift and blip system worked a treat. Now you can drive around using the clutch only for take off.

The 4WD system was completely non functional - WIRE LAB traced the wiring from the Emtron to the ATTESA module, and found the TPS signal wasn't wired correctly. After some programming of the TPS output table, finally we had no more fault codes in the ATTESA and fully functioning 4WD!

Mapping of the DBW throttle resulted in a much more natural feeling throttle response, making the car a joy to drive.

ARTEC VS 6BOOST

Benni's S13 in at HiPower Performance for a general check-up and prep for the next drift event.

Ryan found that the Artec manifold had cracked, so we took the opportunity to do some comparison testing between Artec and 6boost. We found in the past that the Artec cars appeared to make less power than the 6boost cars, so we've been itching to be able to do a direct comparison.

Stock bottom end Non-VCT SR20, Kelford Cams, head studs. Genuine Garrett G25-660. Identical tests - besides the exhaust manifold being changed to a 6boost unit.

The results from changing to the 6boost manifold (Artec results are from before the manifold had cracked):

41.3HP gain at peak with 1 psi less boost
135% gain in power at 4000rpm (103HP to 243HP!)

Fuelling had to be changed over 30%, I believe due to the reduction in exhaust manifold backpressure with the 6boost manifold.

Benni has had 2 years of fun since Ryan built the car, good to see it prepared for some more abuse!

GOD RB back for its first service after undergoing a full build with last year. We snuck some more gate spring in and gave it a tickle on the hub in preparation for racing at JZ Fest this weekend!

Fantastic to see the car back just as flawless as when it left us.

Baby 6466 putting in work!

I hear this is getting an 8HP soon to replace the TH400 👀

The HR stretching its legs on our new Mainline hub dyno. Flawless session with a few tweaks to suit the new converter, making 1495HP. There's still more boost to go, but we'll save that for the track tomorrow 💪
