ANDWHAT back on the road and better than ever. This car came in to make the switch over to a roots blower set up. Now running a 8/71 blown EFI 408ci LS combination dripping in billet goodies. After getting the engine back in, plumbing it up and setting up the electronics to work with the new set up we put it on the hub dyno where it made 733rwhp running on E85 keeping it nice and safe so it can cop plenty of abuse. 👑👑👑

57 Chevy rolling out of the shop this week. This one come in as a killer car already, just in need of some updates and upgrades. Starting with the new engine combo, the blown injected 377ci SBC now to ProFlo spec making it more suited to cruising while still able to fry them massive rears. Plus wanting to give it a more modern look we added Shaun’s Custom Alloy billet covers along with our PFP Products injector hat, idler bracket and the barrel valve style EFI TPS. Then we also pulled both the gearbox and diff and gave the whole driveline a once over to make sure the car is ready to do many more kilometres. After dropping it all back in we re-plumbed the car in Speedflow 550 series hose and fittings, switched the car to individual coils with crank trigger, plus much more. 👑👑👑

Next one out of the Proflo engine room is this 357ci Clevo we have just finished up for T.O. This one came in with specific instructions to make it look like an old school pro stock engine, so we raided his collection of old school speed parts and got to work. We can’t wait to see this one dropped into the bay of his latest project, the XY Falcon 500. 👑👑👑

Proflo cars all over the place over the last couple weeks doing what they do. On the strip we seen the GRUMP Torana along with the OAC Cortina and XY Ute doing some testing with GRUMP going a 7.11@203mph on an early shut off dialling in the new set up. Then on the pad at Thrashernats the TWC Motorsport Mustang was getting some practice in, getting 3 sets of tyres off with ease. Then of course, plenty of toughies all over the Sydney streets. 👑👑👑

Another XD rolling out of the shop here at Proflo. This one came in for a new rear end to suit the 15x10” RC comp rears running a 275/60 tyre. This included, tubs, boot floor, diff hump, tail shaft tunnel and rear firewall as well as filling in the parcel shelf and mounting a fuel cell and battery in the boot. Then underneath the diff and suspension is all new now running one of our sheet metal 9” housings with a 4-link and Strange coil-overs. Up front we also made the switch to tube arms with coil-overs and big Wilwood brakes behind the 17” front runners. 👑👑👑

Last week we attended Powercruise 100 at Queensland Raceway, with a solid line up of Proflo builds on track over the week they all performed flawlessly and all driving onto there trailers at the end of the week. 👑👑👑

Blown injected 377ci SBC we just finished screwing together. Dart block, AFR heads, filled with all the good stuff, topped off with the PFP Products EFI injector hat and barrel valve style TPS running on E85. 👑👑👑

Last few weeks have seen plenty of Proflo cars out and about as usual. At Sydney Dragway Chris Bonello’s VL hit the track for the first time running 8.64@157mph off the trailer at Friday Night Lights a couple weeks back, then today backing it up with a 8.50@158mph. Then at The day of the drags the OAC Cortina and XY ute were out to play, with the Cortina running a PB of 8.48 and the ute running consistent 9 second passes all day. With the TWC Motorsports Mustang now running and driving it made it up to Dubbo Motorfest and Sydney’s OMCC meet where it scored the Top Pro Street award. The 68OLDN HK also made an appearance at Roll Racing Sydney, putting on a show blazing tyres down the front straight and running a top speed of 222kmph. All this plus plenty of streeters cruising around all over. 👑👑👑
