The principal (Steven Lacey) has raced various cars over the last 20+ years, including Sports Sedans, PRB, Aussie Race Cars and Improved production.

Great weekend at Round 1 of the National Sports Sedan Series at Winton. It was also Round 2 of the NSW Sports Sedan Championship. Finished 2nd overall in both points scores after finishing 2nd, 3rd and 2nd respectively in Races 1-3, following a Pole Position in qualifying.

The solid result leaves us in outright first place in the NSW Championship.

Our Pole Position was short lived in Race 1, following an issue with the Race Start lights. What was expected to be an abandoned start, given no lights or flags to indicate the start, turned out to be a start and we dropped 3 spots after lifting off. Managed to get back to P2 during the race, so still on the front row for Race 2 in the morning.

Great first day at Winton in the Lederer Machine, for the joint VIC, NSW and National Round. The Marc Cars Aust GT SS was on song straight out of the truck and ran solidly all day. Huge thanks to Geoff & Sam who are crewing this weekend.

Tomorrow is Qualifying and Race 1, the latter will be televised on Blendline TV. Check in with them for the livestream link.

The first two days have been fantastic at Round 1 of the NSW Sports Sedans Championship at Sydney Motorsport Park.

This morning the GT SS ran a PB of sub 30s, at 1.29.95 to secure 3rd outright and 2nd in SS during qualifying.

Race 1 resulted in the same, although we held 2nd place outright for all but the last lap.

Huge thanks to Marc Cars for a great race car. It’s a light crew this round with just Geoff and Marshall keeping the car quick.

With the recent passing of Bron’s mum, Margaret, an avid supporter of our racing, it was fitting to have her ride with us this weekend.

The wait is over, our MTR Images pack has arrived. Wow, what awesome photos. Thanks to Mick and the Team.

Our Bathurst 12 hour weekend with a new livery lived up to all our expectations, with a front row for qualifying, two 2nd places and a 3rd place in the final race. This secured us a 2nd for the event and included a new personal best lap of the Mountain at 2.08.16 (nearly cracked a 7).

Home after another successful season in the National Sports Sedan Series, finishing 3rd outright for the third time. 2017, 2024 and 2025.

Then there was the year we no longer talk about. Going into the last round with a clear 2nd place up for the taking, all we had to do was finish 3 races, but it wasn’t to be, being relegated to 4th in 2018.

Fair to say the Phillip Island gods have been kinder the last few years.

Well that’s a wrap for Phillip Island and 2025, finishing 3rd in the National Sports Sedan Series and 2nd in the NSW Sports Sedan Championship for the year.

Huge thanks to Geoff Taunton and all the team at Marc Cars Australia for a fantastic season. Best bit is the car went back into the truck the way it came out. straight!

Day 2 of our three days on the Island.

Qualified 2nd and finished 3rd on track, but uplifted to 2nd follow a time penalty to Brad Shiels who was first over the line.

This result moves us up to 7 points from second place in the outright National Sports Sedan Series. Head down and looking forward to the last two races for the season.
