Well it was time to take TKNOVR to the drags for the first time ever , we didn’t change anything on this cars setup that we use for roll racing other than the tyre compound , with zero data on this car we were flying blind , we already knew the gearing was wrong for the drags but we thought we’d give it a go anyways ( too short gearing )

Straight off the trailer it went 1.37 to the 60” and an early shut down, after backing that up a for times with more 1.3” to the 60 it was time to give it the “1 and done” rip, on that pass it was flying until it hit a throttle body error early enough and we could get on the brakes for another run, we made the decision to turn the boost down to help prevent the car going into limp mode as we were determined to get a full run in. Next run it cracked the tyres abit but it was our final pass so we decided to stay into it , it was going great until it wasn’t , we made it further before the car cut out this time but still didn’t get a full pass , around 3/4 track the car shut off again and we hit the brakes before the finish line resulting in a 8.6 as in incomplete pass ….. for a street car this thing is flying !
STOCK ECU too…. Nothing fancy here just an Eboost and a right foot.

We have no interest in racing this car again at the strip as that’s what TAKOVR is for , but it was good to get it out and put some numbers down even if it wasn’t a full pass…

The commentators loved the car and remembered it from the kots event and were very upfront about reminding us they were going to boot us if we do a full pass 😂 so we got the boot and a hi five 😂😂

We had such a blast at KOTS Roll Racing last night for the first time , never been before and thought we would go and see what the fuss was about , the event lived upto it’s reputation and the atmosphere was unreal , if you haven’t been we suggest you go !

Like usual we spent the start of the night testing to see what was going to work best , made some last minute changes going into eliminations with some confidence 💪 we were stuck with 2 options , turn the car down and race in the 225km class or keep it full send mode and race in the 255km class , obviously we weren’t turning it down so full sending it into the 255km class 🫡 with a super tough field of cars to race we weren’t exactly sure what was going to happen this night 😂 we banged it out round for round and come away with the win ! James drove the Ute like a champ all night 💯

The Autotech Engineering tune up had it singing away, thanks again Tyson 🤝🤝

We switched the wheels off our gts sedan as we wanted to make sure we got no tyre spin on the rim and the Wheel and Tyre Kingdom beadlock rims done just that , on point 🔥

It was great to get to race some of our mates that we have been hanging to for a while now BLAKE GILES and Michael Koval

Then as we do, drove home and got a McFlurry from maccas 😂😂

It’s not often TKNOVR gets the chop , but we couldn’t say no to racing our good mate Michael Koval , he took it easy on us and put it on semi kill mod instead of giving us the full beans . Thanks for the race bro , much love ❤️❤️

First event straight off the dyno we towed it to qld powercruise 100 completely untested , straight onto the track it was put on high boost to shut a few people up , one thing to claim you build better cars then we do , post your stupid bu****it online to your minions , but hey, cant hide beyond a keyboard forever😉 ANYWAY…. Ben gave it hell for 3 full days of racing and torture and it was faultless , quick oil change after day 2 and an inspection showing zero issues . We’re happy to help Ben out of a s**t situation and to help him regain faith in his investment and actually see him enjoying his car for the first time in many years .

-extreme session ✅
-drove on and off the trailer ✅

We are the leaders when it comes to boosted ls cars in NSW 🤝

So good seeing Sean get the seat time required in this monster to drive it at its full potential, from his burnouts to powerskids he’s been killing it , powercruise 100 marks off another complete event since we have taken on this car and working along side Troy Worsley and Autotech Engineering , it takes a team to have a car at this level to ensure it’s reliable and consistent, along with a customer that understands preventive maintenance is key.

Beyond happy to see this car doing event after event 🤝🤝

Thanks to Autotech Engineering for the last minute tune up, after a day ironing out gremlins in the car we got stuck into getting the car dialled in, bens been without the car performing correctly for many years now so we thought we’d take it easy on it until after powercruise , punching out an easy 1150hp on 19psi🔥

Enjoy some rolling antilag until it’s back on the dyno to crack that 1000kw goal 🦍
