MISS86 has done a FA24 engine swap in to her Toyota 86 Auto and we were given the opportunity to tune it up as direct comparison to the previously tuned FA20 that was in before. There are massive power and torque gains all over with the new engine. This is a technical, time consuming swap and she has done an incredible job getting it all done properly. Makes our job easy come tune time and the result speaks for itself.

WTAC 2026

Proud to say we are now the quickest Subaru at World Time Attack Challenge ever!

This year we welcomed Ricky Capo to the team. Rickys feedback was invaluable and after only one session managed to put the car in the 126s, with basically the same car we ran last year and zero testing prior, Rickys fastest time stop the clock at 125.05, man can drive!
This officially makes it the fastest Subaru ever at WTAC by almost 2 seconds!

Unfortunately our new billet crankshaft let go, stopping us progressing further up the time sheets. Both Al and Ricky finished up 4th in Pro and Pro Am classes.
We had multiple setbacks with the car prior to the event, leaving us unsure if it was even going to make it this year, but we persisted, making all the pain worth it in the end. More on this later.

Congratulations to Michael Garland with a 3rd place in Clubsprint. After basically missing all of Friday with a gearbox issue, the team swapped it out at the track with the GIR racecar spare unit to get him running again for Saturday. However, with less than ideal ratios, it proved challenging to find the pace to push higher up the podium.

Marty T first WTAC with the team showed a massive effort from this guy. It was his first time ever out on track at SMP on Thursday then missed Friday due to a family emergency. He then came back to finish up a full Saturday set of sessions. Thanks to the Official WRX Club of Victoria team who helped transport the car.

Congrats to Adam Naccarata and Troy Patterson from Coore Troy Patterson on another successful event.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to wish us luck or purchased merch! The support was unreal.

Thank you to our sponsors and partners

This unique Kiiro BRZ was sent to us to be turbocharged and engineered. A G30-660 kit was chosen as the basis for conversion, with modifications to meet emissions testing requirements and power spec for engineering.

An upgraded fuel system and sports organic clutch were installed to support the power and then tuned via RaceROM, passing the strict RG240 emissions test at 210kw. The BRZ FA24 engines continue to impress in that they can support power like this while still retaining emissions compliance with precise tuning.

The customer does the occasional track days, so a race option was requested to go along with the street package. An optional freer flowing exhaust is available that pushes the power to 240kw on 98 and 300kw on E85, while still retaining the factory catback exhaust system.

Quiet, but more than doubling factory power. Flex Fuel all handled through Ecutek RaceROM.

We provide these packages drive in drive out engineered, all work completed in-house. Contact us for more information.

When the challenge to build an engineered, street registered GC8 monster that could be driven on a summers day and then raced on the track using some of the best parts in the world, presented itself we were more than happy to take it on!

The core engine build included a Crest CNC billet block with a Cosworth Billet Crank, Kelford valve train, Radium fuel system, Roger Clark Motorsport dry sump and a rotated Garett turbo kit.

The aim was an OEM plus look, nothing loud, but all purposeful and have full functionality including ac.

Taking advantage of the linkecus capabilities we opted to use drive by wire throttle and AVCS Kelford cams, also adding in some motorsport functions such as flat shifting, auto blipping, rolling Antilag and driver modes.

The motec c127 was used to replace the oem dash cluster and fully integrated down to the smallest details.

Strengthening the drivetrain we upgraded to a Modena Engineering Sequential package with front and rear diffs to match, MAP DCCD unit controlling the centre differential.

Finally we completed an RG240 emissions test for the engineering certification.

Now registered and engineered it can finally be enjoyed by the owner.

The customer is beyond happy with it. We're hugely proud of it and thankful to have been apart of a unique project.

Thanks to the awesome companies we work with daily for supplying the goods to make this dream reality
