I sure do miss the ol’ girl. One I’ll never forget. ❤️🔥
Selling this ute was bittersweet. It wasn’t just a car, it was something I’d built, loved, and never really planned on letting go of. But sometimes you’ve got to make sacrifices to build something bigger.
When I sold it, the plan was to strip things right back, run a leaner structure and go mobile. Then reality kicked in.
Let’s be real… you can’t deliver the Blacklist standard on a show car in someone’s stinkin’ hot garage, tripping over kids’ scooters. 😂
There’s a reason every car that leaves the shop leaves flawless. It’s not just the products or the hours put in. It’s the environment, the process, the equipment and the skill required to get that final result. Perfection doesn’t happen by accident.
So the ute became part of the sacrifice that helped bring BLKLST 2.0 to life. Not how I originally planned it, but sometimes the road takes you somewhere different.
Would I love to have it back in the shed? Absolutely.
But I know what I sold it for, and I know what I’m building.
Sometimes you’ve got to let go of something you love to make room for what’s next.
BLKLST 2.0. Incoming 🖤
