Round 2 of the ASBR Pro Racing Series is done and what a weekend it was! Three JRE powered boats on the water and three podiums across two classes.

River Rogers continued to do what he has been doing for well over a year now - win! Back to back victories to open the season and undefeated since the beginning of last year, the defending US Unlimited class title holder is simply in a league of his own right now. Dominant doesn’t quite cover it 🔥

Then there was the battle everyone will be talking about. Preventing Insanity Racing and The Girlfriend V8 Jetsprint team went at it all day long, two hungry drivers, pushing each other harder with every single run. In the end it came down to the narrowest of margins with Leighton Lillie coming out on top. But if you watched that battle unfold, you already know this weekend is going to be something special. Those two aren’t done with each other 🥊

Supporting three teams across two classes from the other side of the world means some very early mornings in the JRE shed but when the results look like this, we’d do it every time. Data, feedback and full trackside support delivered remotely from Australia.

We are incredibly proud of River, Leighton and Brendan and everyone in their crews who put in the work over the weekend. Congrats to you all 👊🏼

Three JRE clients are on the water in the US this weekend for round 2 of the season and we are pumped 🇺🇸

First up. Brendan Doyle . After his boat was held up in customs missing Round 1, this weekend marks Brendan’s long awaited US debut. We cannot wait to see him hit the water and show off his stuff in the US 🇦🇺

and Leighton are coming in as defending Round 1 winners in their respective classes and you can bet everyone is on their tails 🇺🇸

Three JRE powered packages. Two defending class winners. One very exciting weekend ahead.

We’ll be on the other side of the globe but very much in the game with all three teams. Reading live data, providing trackside support remotely and cheering every single run.

Good luck to Brendan, River and Leighton 👊

Client Spotlight: Koby Bourke | Lil Psycho Lil Psycho Jnr Sprint Boat Race Team

Koby’s journey into jet sprint boat racing is one I’ve been able to witness from the very beginning. I’ve known Koby for a long time, watching him learn the craft of driving in the junior class & quickly develop his feel for the water.

I’ve also known his dad Grant through his long-standing role as Race Director of the AFJSA. So when Grant reached out in late 2023 to build an LS class engine for Koby’s next chapter, it was great to be part of the next stage of his racing journey.

Koby had a Stingray hull & a big step ahead of him. Moving out of juniors & into LS class. I built the engine, supplied the cradle & installed it in the boat. Grant & Koby then took their time getting everything right, with Danny Knappick from KMC Performance finishing the boat off to a great standard.

Koby hit the water for the first time in late 2024, learning the boat, the class & building confidence. Exactly what those early laps needed to be.

Fast forward to the 2025/2026 Australian season & the growth has been something to watch. He started the season well and just kept getting better. Pushing himself, developing his race craft & doing it largely on his own terms. Koby has absorbed every bit of information & applied it on each lap. That’s not something you can teach. That’s just the right kind of attitude & taking the steps to improve.

He finished the season 5th in LS class championship this season. At 17 (almost 18) years old. In his first full season. His future is very bright & we’re proud to play a part in helping the next generation find their feet in this sport.

Koby, you should be an incredibly proud young man. We can’t wait to see what comes next for you & your team.

What a weekend for our JRE teams across the globe. Here’s how our teams went!

Australia 🇦🇺 Final Round of the season

Agrovation Racing : Tyler put together a strong final round, finishing just outside the top 3. Ron had a tougher day, but shook it off like the champion he is.

Lil Psycho : Koby got quicker all day long and was firmly in the mix for a top 6 result before a late DNF. Overall finishing 5th in the championship in LS Class is something to be genuinely proud of.

America 🇺🇸 Round 1 of the season

and Leighton absolutely delivered, both taking 1st place in their respective classes (Unlimited and Group A). Massive congratulations to both crews on a dominant result.

Brendan made the trip over with the Aussie boat but unfortunately customs delays meant race day wasn’t meant to be this time.

A solid weekend across two continents and plenty to be proud of.

Five JRE-powered boats. Two countries. One big weekend ahead.

At home in Australia, Koby and Ron line up for the final round of the Australian Championship at Temora. Koby heads into the weekend sitting 3rd in the LS Class points, so it’ll be a big one to see if he can hold position and finish the season on the podium. Ron has had a consistently strong season, and we’re looking forward to seeing him back on the water for another solid round this Saturday.

Over in the US, three JRE teams are on the water for the opening round of their season at . After a quick visit to Australia last month, River and Leighton are back in the States ready for the opening round this Sunday. Adding to that, Aussie driver Brendan will also make a guest appearance this Sunday, which is great to see.

We’ll be on the ground at Temora on Saturday providing trackside support for Koby and Ron, then switching across Sunday to support the US teams remotely. Two days, two countries, same focus. Making sure each boat is running exactly as it should.

Good luck to everyone, have a great weekend 👊
