Shepparton Motor Body Builders is incredibly proud to have designed and manufactured the Mildura Base Hospital – Multipurpose Screening Mobile Facility.
This project represents a fantastic achievement for everyone involved, and it’s a great example of what can be accomplished through collaboration, innovation, and local expertise.
Seeing the unit out and about delivering essential health services to regional communities is something we’re truly proud of. It’s rewarding to know our work is helping support better access to healthcare across regional Victoria.
Well done to all partners involved in bringing this important project to life.

Are you a skilled Steel Fabricator looking to work on exciting, hands-on projects in a modern, supportive workshop?

Join the team at Shepparton Motor Body Builders, where we specialise in building custom V8 Supercar transporters, armoured vehicles, mobile workshops and many more large scale projects.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:

Using jigs and templates to assemble steel components

MIG welding and general steel fabrication

Measuring, cutting, and shaping steel to spec

Working on trailers & security vehicles

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment

Collaborating with a team of experienced tradespeople

✅ What We’re Looking For:

Trade qualified Steel Fabricator (or equivalent hands-on experience)

Comfortable working from drawings and using jigs for repeat work

Confident MIG welder with attention to detail

Punctual, reliable and able to work unsupervised

Safety-conscious and proactive on the workshop floor
