I present to you - the master of cracking ringlands and spinning bearings, the humble EJ25 💀

1x final engine assembly stage.
1x being removed for build.
1x final fit and prep for first start after build.

This is normal day to day operation here with at least 4x EJ builds in constant parallel and rotation at any given time. This is on-top of our 2-3weeks stacked service, maintenance, builds, mods and tuning.

We have killer and happy clients that see these cars as their release. Something they can control in this crazy climate, their thing that brings them happiness amidst the current doom and gloom alarmism thing. And for that, this thriving and resilient small business (despite the government's best efforts to hamstring us), its passionate staff, subbies and suppliers are eternally thankful.

We'll just be here, kicking our goals, grinding and building cool s**t for cool people.

Driven thrives on long term relationships built on transparency and mutual respect.

Pull up a chair, story time. James has been with us for a decade. He used to have an immaculate Evo XMR with pretty special plates, unfortunately a crack head saw an end to that in a spectacular fashion. Through our vast network we helped him get more than the under valued insurance and then helped him into the seat of this aesthetic af GR Yaris. It was the least we could do.

A few months later, unannounced, he rocked up with brand new EVO plates. A sentimental and meaningful gift, a tearful bro hug was had. We sat on that gift for a few years until our Evo VI was finished and deserving.

These plates are worn with pride and are a constant reminder.

Good things do come full circle, just be a good human. Thankfully, the vast majority of our clientele are the same. Keep being your good selves kids ❤️

Today we remember Garry Dodd and the impacts and lasting memories he has gifted those around him.
A creative, music lover, tradesman, friend, dad, son, brother and husband. He was also one hell of a steerer.
We'll see you again mate, rest up.

On the list - 35 GTR.
We're seeing more and more of these, why? Supercar label and performance for around $100k. Yeah, I'd jump on that too. But I also don't have to pay someone supercar money to look after it 😅

These 08 JDM imports represent phenomenal value for money however, keep in mind, they're edging 20yrs old. They come with 20 year old problems and 20yr old tech and face it...if you have a GTR, you likely will drive it like a GTR should be driven. These are not the car to buy without a quality inspection.

Frankies GTR was towed in needing a lil maintenance and some cooling system help. Sorted, tested and away he goes. Still special and rare enough to demand your attention as he rolls through...the car also.

Jarrads VB walking away from Subarus dismal aesthetic choices and looking fresh af doing so. The coded trims, H&R springs and Enkeis go a loong way to giving the VB WRX some credit.

🇯🇵 Same but different, brothers from other mothers.

Everyone loves a lil friendly rivalry and it doesn't go much deeper for Mitsu and Suby fan boys than Evo vs. STi.

The E fed widebody Evo X (packing 11" TE RTs 🤤) for some maintenance and testing. And this stout 380kw STi for some serious heads, a sequential and management package after getting a lil too rev happy (adios valves) on the stock ECU.

It is with heavy hearts we have been processing and to share the news of Garry Dodds passing.

Garry was a talented and competitive driver and one of Drivens earliest supporters and sponsored drivers. Often seen dominating Gymkhana and Motorkhana in his beast of a green GC8 WRX enthusiastically beaming his smile and smart ass sense of humour as he did it. He was a massive contributor to the Subaru community and without his contribution to Driven it is safe to say we wouldn't have made the impact to the community that we have.

Even through all of his health challenges he never stopped fighting, smiling, joking, offering assistance and trying to get back in the seat of his later acquired BRZ whilst never complaining about the cards dealt to him.

He was a force to be reckoned with behind the wheel and one special human.
He lives on through his equally amazing wife Talitha and son Aiden, both of which have our unwavering support with anything they should want or need.

Rest easy mate.
