We had not intended to respond publicly.
However, after GTurbo publicly named Tune Works across multiple forums and made statements questioning our ability to tune vehicles fitted with their products - we believe it is important to reassure our customers and correct the record.

Tune Works has always independently tuned vehicles and for recent years this includes vehicles fitted with GTurbo products. Our tunes are developed in house, tested and tailored to each vehicle, its modifications, condition and intended use.

Over a year ago, GTurbo attempted to introduce a dealer agreement that would have controlled the products we used, the tuning files we supplied and aspects of how those products were priced and warrantied. Our correspondence at the time clearly raised concerns about exclusivity, resale price controls and attempts to make warranty support conditional on GTurbo supplied tuning. We declined because we would not allow one supplier to dictate how we operated or what we believed was best for our customers. That disagreement marked the beginning of the business relationship breakdown.

Those concerns have only grown with the recent number of G333 ball bearing turbo failures we have encountered. The suggestion that these failures are isolated to Tune Works tuning files is simply false. Product failures and warranty concerns exist nation wide independently of who completed the tuning.

Our technical knowledge and tuning abilities were more than satisfactory when GTurbo needed our assistance. Over the years we have supplied ECU solutions for DTC deletes they couldn't resolve, developed DPF and EGR delete solutions, assisted with the implementation of multi-mapping including hardcuts and lumpy idles and numerous other tuning solutions. We have all this documented correspondence.
That highlights why the suggestions that Tune Works lacks the skill to tune these vehicles, or that warranty issues have only occurred when our tuning was used, are directly untrue.

Supporting a product when everything is working well is easy. The true measure of a supplier is how they respond when the product is not performing as it should and the customer needs support most.

Our customers can remain confident in the experience, development and technical knowledge behind every vehicle we tune. Tune Works will continue to assess each vehicle properly, develop our own tunes and stand behind the work we perform. Our customers have always been and will remain, our top priority and we thank you all for the support.

We will not be entering into an ongoing public argument. This statement is simply to reassure our customers and correct the false impression created about our technical capability.
