Located in East Perth, on the banks of the Swan River, Gloucester Park is Western Australia’s home of harness racing. With racing every Friday night of the year, crowds are treated to a family friendly atmosphere all just minutes from the Perth CBD. Gloucester Park is home to a range of restaurants including the beautiful Beau Rivage which offers buffet dining on the top floor of the JP Stratton G

randstand, boasting sweeping views of the race track and a stunning backdrop of the Swan River. Ground floor bars, function rooms and private boxes are all also available for use during race meetings and the trackside grass is always popular with families looking to secure their own version of the ‘best seat of the house.’
Gloucester Park’s marquee events include the WA Pacing Cup in January, the Golden Nugget Championship, The WA Oaks and the WA Derby. With racing every Friday night you’re bound see the current champions of harness racing, whenever you head to Gloucester Park. The iconic venue also hosts three fireworks nights per year which have become long standing favourites with families and punters alike. Italian Night, the WA Pacing Cup and Chinese New Year are nights not to be missed. On the track Gloucester Park has a long history of greats such as Binshaw, Mount Eden and Village Kid. The recently retired Im Themightyquinn leaves his racing career viewed by many as the greatest ever with over $4.5 million in career prize money, including three WA Pacing Cups and three Inter Dominion Championships.
