Gloucester Park’s marquee events include the WA Pacing Cup in January, the Golden Nugget Championship, The WA Oaks and the WA Derby. The iconic venue also hosts three fireworks nights per year which have become long standing favourites with families and punters alike. Italian Night, the WA Pacing Cup and Chinese New Year are nights not to be missed. On the track Gloucester Park has a long history of greats such as Binshaw, Mount Eden and Village Kid. The recently retired Im Themightyquinn leaves his racing career viewed by many as the greatest ever with over $4.5 million in career prize money, including three WA Pacing Cups and three Inter Dominion Championships.
