My name is Andrew Reece and KAR Repairs & Servicing is my answer to sharing my 23 years experience in all areas of automotive diagnostics, maintenance and repairs, including brakes, suspension, tyres, vehicle modification and restoration, customer service and sales. The main problem I find in my industry is trust and reliability. In my role in management in large workshops I found very few people I could trust and rely on with my work ethic and experience. I believe the best service you can get is by dealing with one person who can do it all for you. All vehicles are my passion and I have seen it all - cars, trucks, bikes, boats, equipment maintenance, fleet servicing and management. With my experience working at two major Brisbane car dealerships and auction experience I can deal with every aspect of your needs and have contacts with other specialized services I can trust. This afternoons pre purchase inspection on a little Hyundai.

This Kia Sorento diesel was repaired at another local shop to fix egr issue.
Shop removed old egr damaging mounting surface and also broke the cooling temp sensor next to the egr .did not clean the area and miss fit a aftermarket egr braking it in the process and left the coolant temperature sensor disconnected as it was snapped off Charged the customer and sent them on their way with more faults then when they arrived.saying it needed lots of other repairs to fix .
So I replaced the broken temperature sensor and removed the aftermarket egr which doesn’t work in some Kia Hyundai models as genuine only works due to voltage sensitivity. Cleaned and repaired damage fitted a genuine egr and car is fixed . So know who is fixing your car and ask questions from other sources.

This 1973 foden twin steer bogie drive turns out to be to far gone for restoration. But the straight 8 gardener diesel is impressive and the driveline is huge looks like an old clean away garbage truck.

The international kb5 1947 one family owned truck has made it to its first truck show in rocklea and looked amazing.

42 years ago this 1947 international kb5 was parked . Now it’s been fully restored and now registered again. This is its first time leaving the shed under its own power .
