🎉 Congratulations Yuyu — VicRoads Warragul! 🚗

Such a great result today!

When Yuyu first came to me, he had previously attempted his drive test twice in his own car without any lessons and unfortunately hadn’t been successful.

From our first drive together, I could see that he was already a good driver — he just needed some fine-tuning and a better understanding of exactly what was expected to be test ready.

There were also a few things from his previous test feedback that didn’t seem to align with the drive test criteria. This is where having an experienced driving instructor beside you can be a real advantage — not only to prepare you properly beforehand, but also to support you on test day and ask questions or seek clarification when needed.

And today… a completely different result! 🙌 A great, confident drive and a well-deserved pass.

📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE – PAKENHAM VICROADS

The new VicRoads Pakenham site is set to open on 16 November! 🚗

During the first couple of months at the new location, drive test appointments will be running at reduced capacity while the team settles into the new site and operations get fully up and running.

🎂 Turning 18 between 16 November and the end of the year?

If you’re hoping to get your licence around your 18th birthday, I strongly recommend getting in touch and booking your drive test as early as possible. With fewer test appointments available during this period, dates are likely to fill quickly.

Planning ahead gives you the best chance of securing a test date that works for you — and making sure you’re properly prepared before the big day.

VicRoads is opening a new purpose-built Customer Service Centre in Pakenham. The new centre will bring together services currently provided at the Dandenong Customer Service Centre and Pakenham Licence Testing Centre, in one location.

The nerves definitely decided to make an appearance once the test got underway, but you didn’t let them take over. You settled in, trusted your driving and got the job done.
