Another 7.3 Ford F250 in the workshop getting a set 4.1 gears installed to turn 37" tyres with ease
Despite the unforeseen challenges with this job, like the rear diff failing and being contaminated with metal, we were still able to get this job done in great time and get our customer from Gladstone back on the road and back home 🚗💪🔧👍😊

Another 6.7 Ford f350 in to get the well known upper oil pan leak repaired permanently

Here at Elite we do all our jobs once and right
This oil leak had been repaired once before in the trucks earlier years

To prevent this leak from ever coming back we replaced the upper oil pan with a pan that has the early design with an incorporated rubber seal.
This minimises chance of the oil leak coming back
We also replaced:
◾️Rear main seal
◾️Lower oil pan
◾️Engine oil cooler coolant hoses (they swell up due oil exposure)

A productive week was wrapped up at the workshop, with major maintenance of a 79 series landcruiser, including replacement of the clutch, installation of a new gearbox and transfer case, fitting of a Bendix brake booster upgrade, replacement of front brake rotors and pads, removal of outdated mine-spec wiring, and completion of a thorough major service.

We had a huge week to start off 2026 topped off with a cool 454mm of rain since last Sunday at our Oakenden workshop 🌧

- Major services, including automatic/manual transmissions, transfer case and diff oils on an Isuzu MU-X, Ford Ranger and Holden Colorado
- Inspections and repairs on various vehicles
- Replacement of torque converter seals, flex plate and dipstick tube on a 7.3L F250
- Standard servicing on an Isuzu NPR truck and Toyota Landcruiser 79 series

Happy New Year! 🎉 We’re back in the workshop after a quiet break and straight back into it.

Kicking things off was this Ford Ranger in for a standard service and a 2” lift kit install. The standard shocks were worn, so we supplied and fitted a Formula 4x4 Core Lift Kit as an affordable replacement - it came up a treat! 🔧

As the year comes to a close, we’d like to thank all our customers for your support throughout the year.

Our workshop will be closed over the Christmas and New Year period to give our team a well-earned break, especially as Adrian recovers from an ACL and meniscus repair.

Please be patient as Adrian navigates his way through his recovery. His phone is still on, but may take a bit longer to respond.
