What an awesome day running the .australia First Gear Program at 🏁
From driving a car for the very first time to learning the basics of how to get started in motorsport, participants got a real behind-the-scenes experience of racing life. They also stepped into the role of a Flag Marshal and learnt just how important officials are to our sport 👏
A fantastic day helping introduce the next generation to motorsport! 🚗💨

❗️How to make a submission to the Moreton Motorsport Park Ministerial infrastructure Designation Application❗️

❓What is a Ministerial Infrastructure Designation Application❓

🔹Because the proposed Moreton Motorsport Park is considered to be ‘community supporting infrastructure’ as it is a sporting facility, the proposal is able to be considered as a Ministerial Infrastructure Designation, or MID.

🔹The MID process provides an alternative process for lodging a development application with Local Government. The process is managed by the State Government (Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning) with input from other government agencies. Ultimately, the planning minister is responsible for making MID decisions.

🔹As part of the MID process, the MMP team has undertaken comprehensive surveys, modelling and reporting in relation to potential impacts, including noise, environmental and traffic. The team has also undertaken a detailed analysis into the community and economic need for the facility and the benefits which will flow from it. This information is provided on the MID portal for review, during the public consultation process.
