This would have to be one of my favourite swimming holes up here — nothing beats pulling up after a day on the tracks and jumping straight in! 👌

When a Toyota throws a P1251 turbo stepper motor fault code, 99% of the time the stepper motor itself isn’t the problem.

The real culprit is usually seized or sticking variable vanes inside the turbo. Carbon buildup causes the vanes to bind, preventing the actuator from moving through its correct range and triggering the stepper motor fault code.
