Tiny little thing, this is the 2nd one this weekend.

The Feathertail glider (Acrobates pygmaeus) is the world’s smallest gliding mammal, a tiny Australian marsupial known for its unique, feather-like tail that acts as a rudder for gliding up to 70 feet between trees. These nocturnal, social animals live in eastern Australian forests, feeding on nectar, pollen, and insects, and use specialized toe pads to climb smooth surfaces. They nest in tree hollows, often in groups, and can enter a state of torpor to conserve energy in cold weather.
