Congratulations to Patrick J. Healey, President and CEO of Viking Yacht Company, inducted into the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026.

Sixty two years of building the world’s finest sportfishing boats, and just as many spent fighting for the industry and the fisheries behind it. From the repeal of the 1991 Luxury Tax that nearly ended American boatbuilding, to championing circle hooks and sensible fisheries policy, Pat’s influence reaches far beyond New Gretna.

He joins Roy W. Cronacher Jr., Tom Davidson, Capt. Ralph Delph and Capt. Jose Wejebe in the 2026 class, honoured on 29 August at the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium in Springfield, Missouri.
