WFAANZ is launching an industry-first automotive window film certification program, giving auto tinters across Australia and New Zealand access to structured technical training and certification. Launching 4 November 2026, the program combines an online workshop with an online exam, covering the technical knowledge that underpins professional automotive window film installation.
Topics include auto glass and film technologies, regulations, solar control and UV, industry resources and terminology, calculations, and industry standards. The course is designed to complement hands-on installation experience with a stronger understanding of the science, performance and compliance considerations behind the trade.
Automotive certification is open to both established installers and people new to the industry, as well as others working in the sector. By providing reliable, accurate and consistent technical information, WFAANZ seeks to help installers develop their expertise while supporting greater uniformity in industry practice.
