Couple of jobs here in Tom Price, here are some highlights

Extra solar panels are still my most popular job. I see a lot of caravans with undersized roof solar based on their appliances in the van. For example, if you have a 12v compressor fridge, the golden rule is 3 full size panels if possible.

I had a faulty Redarc Alpha 50 fail on the 240v charger side.

A new Austrack Camper had a loose battery terminal causing excessive heat which was causing the system to not charge correctly

A BM Pro system poorly charging a lithium battery, customer getting limited use off grid. I installed new chargers and a gauge/ shunt next to the batteries which fixed the issue.

Also rolled my ankle pretty bad trying to be a hero on some rocks, so laying low for a few days 🤕

Back to Exmouth on Sunday for a big 3 day fitout on a caravan with major electrical issues then coming back home after that

Cheela Plains Station 📍

4 days stop at Cheela Plains before heading to Tom Price
Even though its a nice small place, i still had work everyday.
I saw a faulty itech world lithium battery, faulty solar controllers as well as a van loosing all power when inverter was in use and another van with a decent lithium and inverter setup but no shunt and gauge, so installed one for him. In Tom Price now for a week 👍

Another full lithium + 240v conversion done way up here in Onslow

Ive been on the road for 5 weeks and haven't stopped. Lots of people with issues or wanting the opportunity to have upgrades while im here. Next Stop Cheela Plains Station then Tom Price.

Lots of work in Coral Bay, i had people constantly coming up to me every day i was there with questions or electrical issues

Lots of solar installs, fold out blanket sales, even a 460AH Lithium battery upgrade for a Winnebago. Currently in Bullara Station heading towards Onslow tomorrow

First customer in Geraldton!

This guy has had issues since he bought his motorhome second hand a year ago. After driving 7000kms and already visiting a few workshops, he was ready to burn it to the ground 😅

Everything all fixed and sorted

Removed his tired 4x 100AH AGM batteries

Installed a 314AH ATG lithium battery

Programmed his Victron Multiplus 3000w inverter correctly with my laptop and Victron software

Installed a Victron battery monitoring gauge

Tested the entire electrical system, found his DCDC charger wasnt even working. 😬

Installed a bluetooth dongle for the Inverter as well as a genuine Victron remote on/off panel inside the cabin for better ease of use

Supplied a 225w fold out solar blanket and wired up to help aid his roof solar

The main issue was the last owner Installed the fancy Victron 3000w Multiplus and as cool as it is, it killed the AGM batteries.. they are not designed for such large discharge loads.

The ATG 314AH lithium battery has a 250A BMS, perfectly suited to the 3000w inverter which can pull 260A max.

I am carrying a huge amount of parts, so I was able to supply and install everything I recommend here on the spot.

🎉BIG NEWS 🎉

After 18 months of building my trailer and getting a new Toyota Hiace, tomorrow im finally leaving for Exmouth 😎

Ive been wanting to do this for many years and now is my chance to do it while I can. I will be offering my services up north during this busy period for around 6 weeks as of tomorrow or until I run out of parts.

I will be starting to drive north tomorrow and will be stopping at most places looking for work, if there isnt anything ill keep going up.

I have with me all the usual caravan electrical parts ready to fix anything that is thrown at me .
