Makocraft is still Australian made, still Australian owned, still second-generation designs drawn by people who go out in the same conditions you do.
Here's the part that doesn't get talked about enough: where the money goes after you hand it over.
When a boat is built here by an Australian-owned company, that money doesn't just buy you a hull.
It pays the welder on the floor.
It pays the apprentice he's training.
It pays the local suppliers, the freight blokes, the fabricators down the road.
And the profit at the end of it stays in the country — reinvested in the next model, the next hire, the next apprentice.
We make and sell Makocraft because we believe in the boats — they're tough, they're proven, and they're built for the water we actually fish. But we'd be lying if we said the rest of it didn't matter to us too.
