Alright, let’s digest the weekend!
We headed to Sydney with one goal in mind get a feel for the car and have a bit of fun while we were at it.
First up, a massive thank you to AVR Dyno for always making sure the tune is an absolute party and for continually helping keep the motor turning around. Having people in your corner who genuinely want to see you succeed makes a huge difference, and we appreciate everything you do behind the scenes.
I’d also like to thank all of our sponsors and supporters who help make weekends like this possible. Whether it’s parts, advice, products, or backing us from afar, your support never goes unnoticed.
Before we even hit the pad, I said to the boys, “If this thing lights up, we’ll make sure we win the fire trophy.” Well… the damage wasn’t too bad, and we managed to bring the fire trophy home, so I suppose we achieved that mission!
Overall, it was an awesome weekend. To everyone we didn’t get a chance to catch up with, we’re sorry. We spent the better part of four hours sitting in the lineup, so time got away from us pretty quickly.
A few people deserve a special mention:
Chris and Lachy Law thank you boys for organising everything and for dragging me along to Brashernats. Honestly, I probably wouldn’t have gone if it wasn’t for you guys taking the time to make it happen.
Spotto thanks mate for looking after us, chasing me around all weekend, lending a hand wherever needed, and making sure every moment was captured.
Canberra Painting Service thanks for giving us somewhere to call home for the weekend after our original sleeping arrangements turned out to be absolutely no good!
Tye from 2EASY thanks for bringing tyres, chasing fuel, and helping keep us moving all weekend.
COEY and Ryan thanks for sorting tyres when we needed them.
Burson Auto Parts thanks for coming through with the oil and keeping us on track.
Cottee thanks for the advice, the support, and helping us make a few changes throughout the weekend.
Weekends like this don’t happen without good people around you. We might be the ones behind the wheel, but there’s always a whole crew working behind the scenes to keep the car running and the good times rolling.
The fire trophy came home, the car is still in one piece, and the memories are worth every minute spent in the lineup.
Now it’s time to clean up the mess, fix a few things, and get ready for the next one.
See you all at the next party!!! 🔥🍻🏁
