Wow ,this engine had been just re rung with new head , timing cover had been removed by someone ,no gasket and silicon everywhere, bolt had come out of timing chain slide and rubbing on the timing gear , no bolts at front of head to timing cover ,no front seal , stripped

Well this is one good reason to use coolant , I haven’t seen one this bad in a long long time

Well a bit of excitement this week , we have a L77 v8 commodore with a miss , started digging and pulled one head off for inspection and found some damaged lifters and worn cam , problem started by the lifter guide allowing the lifters to spin , ie not good for a Roller

Make sure you change your oil regularly.no one wants this to happen , 2 years since last service that we know of 😉
