Huge day at the TERRA endurance round, great to have it back on the calendar.

Plenty of tired faces this afternoon.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Tom Williams, whose unwavering passion and dedication shaped the very fabric of motorcycle sport in Australia.

Tom’s legacy is defined by decades of exceptional commitment, serving as Race Director and Clerk of Course for ASBK, MotoGP and WorldSBK events. He was the steady hand guiding our volunteers and officials, and his leadership will be remembered with immense gratitude.

His passing has left a profound void. Earlier this year, Tom was diagnosed with motor neurone disease, but he was able to make an emotional final visit to the 2026 Australian Superbike Championship season finale at Queensland Raceway, where he said his farewells to the paddock he loved.

His contribution to the sport will always be remembered.

Hope you’ve been doing your stretches, we don’t wanna see any hammys go ping at the 3 hour!

Before we can get down to the fun part, a reminder we will be installing the airfence tomorrow afternoon from 4:30pm with any leftovers to be done Thursday afternoon.

Final setup of airbags and tower will be Sunday morning so get down early to help make the day run smoothly.

A reminder that the return of the Endurance round is only 10 days away!

Entries for the event close at 8:00pm this Friday night!

Late entries will be open for a further week but beware, you will be up for a $25 late entry fee. Please get your entries in early so we can make sure the teams are correctly organised.

If you don't have a teammate and want to race get in touch and we will sort you out.

Also be advised our July monthly meeting will be 6pm at the midway this coming Monday the 6th.

P.s This is not how you should leave the pits.
