Day two bringing the PBs. It was the first day of timed racing today and we were ready for it. The car definitely showed us a glimpse of it's potential, running well throughout the day thanks to the dedication of the our DG Team Mechanics Adam and Aiden, plus some help from and

The first session of the day brought our first PB at 1:40, leaving our previous best lap from WTAC 2025 in the dust. During the second and third sessions, we worked through some fuel pressure challenges with some help from and did some touchups to the car and oil, while also continuing to review and refine the setup and driving, thanks to Rob . The final session for the afternoon brought some cooler track temps and we laid down a PB of 1:39:7, with the car in great condition and ready for more.

Tomorrow brings the final day of WTAC. It's time to send it...

Day one is done. It was practice sessions today and we took it easy to get used to the fresh setup of our DG GR Yaris, including the most noticeable upgrades of new front splitter and rear wing. We ran some solid laps, did some checks and testing and overall had a positive first day.

We are fortunate to have some amazing support from Rob who joined Team DG for WTAC this year to help review data and provide coaching, which freed up Chris to just focus on driving, and also to our Super Mechanic Adam who had everything covered for the car itself.

Day two tomorrow brings the start of racing and we are looking forward to having the entire DG Team down with us as we begin to unleash some power and explore the full potential of the evolved 3BANGA.

A few months ago, Pete came to us looking at this immaculate 2016 STI before purchasing it. Wanting to know exactly what he was buying, we carried out a comprehensive pre-purchase inspection to ensure it was a mechanically sound platform and worth investing in.

Thankfully it checked out, and not long after taking ownership Pete jumped head first into building the STI he'd always envisioned.

Starting with a healthy base, we put together a package focused on creating a responsive and enjoyable street and track car while keeping future plans in mind.

Upgrades included:
- Invidia Q300 turbo-back exhaust
- Unequal length headers which were wrapped in heat wrap to help keep under-bonnet temperatures under control
- Process West cold air intake
- Process West front mount intercooler
- TGV & air pump delete
- Upgraded fuel hanger with upgraded hard wired fuel pump
- Custom fuel lines
- Fuel rails
- Fuel pressure regulator
- Injector Dynamics injectors
- Flex fuel kit
- Killer B upgraded sump
- DG Custom catch can kit
- 3-port boost controller
- Short shifter
- Slotted rotors
- Performance pads
- Braided brake lines
- Master cylinder stopper
- Öhlins coilovers
- Whiteline front and rear sway bars

Once complete, the car was custom dyno tuned via EcuTek on both 98 and E85, resulting in a package that feels responsive, predictable and equally at home on a backroad, track day or daily drive.

What we like most about this build is that it wasn't put together to chase a dyno number. Every modification was selected as part of a bigger plan, giving Pete a car he can enjoy now while building a strong foundation for the future.

For now though, it's great to see him out enjoying the car he envisioned from day one.

We recently had the pleasure of working on Kains pride and joy, unfortunately it came to us from 12 hours north😲 needing some serious love after suffering from a failed rod bearing😪

We then hooked him up with our DG270 rebuilt short featuring Nitto Performance Engineering forged rods and MAHLE forged pistons, making this a tough street daily driver.

After fitting some new mods like a fresh turbo inlet and cold air intake we also finished it off with a DG custom catch can to suit, this is now one wrx ready to rip!!

A nice upgrade for Finnan's 2021 GR Yaris earlier this week.

If you've stopped by the workshop recently, you've probably noticed things are a little... hectic.

With less than two weeks to go until the in Sydney, the entire team is flat out preparing for one of the biggest events of the year. The workshop is full of projects, parts, and ongoing race prep as we work through the final stages before loading up and heading south.

This year we're also proud to be working closely with as a partner, undertaking research and development work focused on oil performance. It's a great opportunity to contribute real-world data from a high-performance motorsport environment while continuing to push our own program forward.

The GR Yaris will also be sporting a few changes before the event. We're not giving away all the details just yet, but there are some exciting developments in the works that we're looking forward to testing at WTAC.

Now it's time to keep our heads down and get everything ready. The countdown has officially begun!
