"IT'S ABOUT BLOODY TIME": Aussie 4WD Brand Expands Product Line To Protect Nation’s Most Abused Vehicle - The Little Tikes Cozy Coupe
In a move that industry insiders are calling “long overdue”, Australian 4WD accessory company Razorback 4x4 has announced a new line of tailor-made seat covers for the iconic Little Tikes Cozy Coupe.
The pint-sized red-and-yellow rig, long regarded as the gateway vehicle for future 4WD enthusiasts, has historically been left vulnerable to the harsh realities of Australian family life - including Vegemite hands, rogue juice boxes and even full-speed collisions with the outdoor dining table.
The new covers, made from the same incredibly high-quality materials that Razorback 4x4 use in all of their seat covers, are designed to withstand everything from backyard mud puddles to "mysterious sticky substances of unknown origin."
Local dad and self-proclaimed Cozy Coupe fleet manager, David Miller, 32, has said the upgrade was desperately needed.
"Timmy has done about 80,000 backyard k's in that thing," Miller said. "The interior never stood a chance."
Timothy Miller, 3, was asked how he felt about the news. "F*** yeah," he says, "it's about bloody time. I don't even know how to count to the number of times I've hopped in and dirtied it after playing with the dog - it's got to be at least three times now, maybe even four... What comes after four again? That number."
A Razorback 4x4 spokesperson has said, “we realised there was a huge gap in the market,” appearing extremely serious about the whole thing. “Sure, Timmy's parents are protecting the seats in their LandCruiser, but the vehicle that actually sees the most punishment in the household has been ignored for far too long.”
At the time of writing, thousands of Australian parents are reportedly preparing their garages for the inevitable moment their child insists the Cozy Coupe needs the same upgrades as the family 4WD.
