Finishing off another big order before the weekend! This time we’ve put together one of our serious RB25DET high-flow turbo packages, designed as a complete bolt-on setup for the R33/R34.

Package includes:

⚙️ 57/55mm in-housing built core
⚙️ T3 .82 externally gated turbine housing
⚙️ 3” stainless R33/R34 RB25DET bolt-on dump pipe
⚙️ 2” stainless R33/R34 RB25DET bolt-on screamer pipe
⚙️ Turbosmart 45mm external wastegate

This package is good for around 300rwkws with the right supporting modifications, fuel system and tune.

A strong street combination for anyone wanting solid power from their RB25DET while keeping everything in a neat bolt-on package.

This one is one of our larger high-flow configurations, built for customers looking to push well beyond the capabilities of the factory turbo while retaining the factory bolt-on setup.

🔧 Upgrade includes:
• 48/55mm wheel configuration
• Ball-bearing core conversion
• Compressor & turbine housings profile machined to suit the larger wheels
• Upgraded wastegate actuator

Around 220 rwkW depending on tune, supporting modifications and fuel.

Another recent job completed at Hypergear Turbochargers — rebuilding and high flowing an AVO GT28 WRX turbocharger to G25-660 specifications.

This upgrade included:

⚙️ Brand-new in-housing built core assembly
⚙️ 54mm billet compressor wheel upgrade
⚙️ 48mm turbine wheel upgrade
⚙️ Compressor & turbine housings profile machined to suit the larger wheels
⚙️ Upgraded wastegate actuator with custom-made bracket

The goal was to retain the existing AVO bolt-on setup while substantially increasing the turbocharger's airflow and power capability.

Upsized turbo should see a decent increase in power and top-end flow compared with the original GT28 configuration, while remaining a neat bolt-on package for the WRX.

Another older turbo brought back to life — and upgraded at the same time. 💨

Finishing off another big job before the weekend! 🔧💨

This set of factory R35 GTR turbochargers is heading onto a stroked 4.1L VR38DETT, with the client requesting us to go as big as possible while retaining the factory turbo housings and factory mounting locations.

⚙️ Turbo Upgrade Package:
✅ Upsized 54mm billet compressor wheels
✅ Upsized 58mm turbine wheels
✅ Ball-bearing centre conversions
✅ Upgraded factory-location wastegate actuators
✅ Compressor & turbine housings profile-machined to suit the larger wheels
✅ Fully assembled and balanced in-house

The goal was maximum flow from the factory turbocharger platform while keeping everything packaged in the original locations.

With the increased capacity of the stroked 4.1L VR38DETT, these high-flow turbos are expected to support around 1000WHP on E85 with the right fuel system, tuning and supporting modifications.

Another classic gets a new lease on life! 🔥

We've just finished rebuilding and upgrading a GReddy T67 Turbocharger to wrap up the week.

This turbo came off a built Mitsubishi Evo 8, with the owner chasing more power with the unmistakable T51R soundtrack. Instead of replacing it with a modern unit, we gave this legendary turbo a complete transformation.

🔧 Upgrades include:
