Being school holidays, we were able to do a later start than usual (8AM) and by 4PM, this photo says it all!

Proud to have helped this inspirational youngster, Talena, obtain her licence last month!

Joining NALHN Aboriginal Health just 12 months ago as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner Trainee straight out of high school, Talena has embraced every opportunity to learn, grow and support her community.

When Chloe first contacted us, in March, about doing CBT, she very politely said she was ‘hoping to get my Ps in July if possible’…

Her own hard work made this happen, and tomorrow she can head into ServiceSA and do exactly that - become a P Plater.

Chloe achieved her licence by doing a CBT&A (often called logbook) - YES, we do offer that.

Yesterday, it was all action up in the hills where Nathan was undertaking our One Day Intensive Program!

Being a Saturday, a later start of 8AM was the go, but the roads were still fairly busy with Mount Barker traffic at 3PM which was VORT time.

Nathan took it in his stride and ended the day with the coveted Certificate of Competency in his hand!

Another FIRST TIME pass!

That meant just ONE mistake for the whole VORT.

Now, that is impressive!

Can drive automatic and manual cars.

He may look like he’s ready for school…but there was an important task to complete first - pass a VORT.
