VACANCY: STUDENT ATTACHMENT - SALES & MARKETING

About the Role
Dalkeith Engineering is looking for a motivated Student on Attachment in Sales & Marketing to join our Motor Spares Shop team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in retail sales, customer service, and marketing of automotive parts.

Key Responsibilities - Motor Spares Shop
- Attend to walk-in customers and phone/WhatsApp enquiries for motor spares
- Assist with sales of automotive parts, oils, accessories, and consumables
- Prepare quotations and invoices using our sales system
- Stock control: receiving, checking, shelving, and pricing of spares
- Maintain inventory records and report fast/slow moving parts
- Support marketing of shop specials, promotions, and new stock via WhatsApp, flyers, and social media
- Maintain a clean, neat and well-merchandised shop floor
- Follow up on customer orders and ensure good after-sales service
- Prepare daily sales reports and assist with cashier duties when needed

Requirements
- Currently studying Marketing, Sales, Business Management, or related field at a recognized college, polytechnic or university
- Must have an attachment letter from your institution
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, and WhatsApp Business
- Confident, target-driven, and able to work in a team
- Interest in automotive parts is an advantage
