There yet another change in the importation of motor vehicles in Zimbabwe. From the first of June 2022, all vehicles imported into Zimbabwe should be inspected and issued with a certificate of fitness before its shipment.

Effects to clients:

1. An addition of $250 usd to the Cost Insurance Freight (CIF).
2. Time: it usually takes 6 to 8 weeks to import a vehicle from Japan to Zimbabwe. So with this inspection changes, we now add another 2 weeks.
