Safety is 5 star but electrical issues occur more often than I would like in Audi, thus a 4 star. To me safety from German engineering deserves a 5 star, however, electrical issues in the vehicle can be frustrating. Also, it is a lot more expensive to fix compared to Japanese or Korean made vehicles.

3 cylinder engines have answered the needs of fuel economy, for Europe it has answered need for cleaner eco, due to reduced co2 grams /km , though we don't speak much of efficiency for real gas heads who love torque but are they answering the need for durability......

Its time to go for 3 cylinder engines coz of our economy but be sure to get the right mechanic for the acty mini engines. It does not mean that the minis don't last here but its the mechanic who don't go further with engines. Tiny engines timing is just another clunk, Try find a mechanic who give you the best deal for l***s and design you a service log coz most of these vehicles hardly hit a 3 year lifespan. Aluminum blocks have a maintenance way, be careful of sludge buildups and beware again of using engine flush fluids during service. Find a good service advisor, find the right mechanic and life of that mini get an extended warranty.

Synthetics are fine but not all are recommended for the tiny chunks, know the right oil, service interval and service pack.

Before you purchase a vehicle in Zimbabwe. Dont be quick to consider only fuel economy as that is nowadays natural with every buyer. Not only tiny cars are fuel savers but consider safety, comforty , durability, service intervals ,versatility and personality.

Look for vehicle pre-purchase advisor before you be quick to pick and pay for small cars a norm of economy. We now have the TSI engines, just a 1,300cc 7 seater cars delievering up to 110kw that is 147 hp for a tiny engine courtesy of VW blue motion efficiency technology ...

Be advised of random picking, you end up going for wankel and other roatry engines which will be an embarrassing end at your part. Consider travelling long distances with Zim Temperature, thats where we begine to speak of 6 speed automatic boxes but not just automatic, but Dual Clutch latest technology cars wich will addict you to stay just on the pedal.....
