*DRIVING LONG DISTANCE? CHECK THESE BEFORE HITTING THE ROAD*

*1. FLUIDS*
Check fuel, coolant, brake fluid, oil and washer fluid level and condition. Top up or replace as necessary to ensure perfec running conditions, preventing system failure.

*2. BRAKES*
Have your brake pads checked and changed in time, and your handbrake adjusted properly

*3. SUSPENSION*
Take it for a test drive, paying attention to noises when turning, on bumpy roads, while driving, taking off braking etc. Feel your steering too. Suspension and steering issues are critical and are better left to professionals.

*4. PLUGS & FILTERS.*
It's ideal to change plugs even while they still work, as their failure is hard to predict. Check air and fuel filters too. This helps maintain fuel economy.

*5. LIGHTS*
Have the lights cleaned and adjusted, replacing malfunctioning lights so as to ensure night driving and inclement weather visibility.

*4. WIPER BLADES.*
Windshield wipers blades must fit snugly onto the glass without leaving lines. Tightening or replacing them properly increases visibility during rain or fog.

*5. A/C*
Check the cabin filter and replace as necessary, then run the car to test the air conditioner. Any defect or an unpleasant odor in the cab should be addressed by a professional. This improves comfort improves driver alertness.
