π§ THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HAVING A DIAGNOSTIC MACHINE AND KNOWING HOW TO DIAGNOSE!
Let me tell you a story.
Two mechanics receive the same car. The owner wants to know why the engine warning light is on.
The first mechanic plugs in a diagnostic machine, reads the fault codes, and tells the owner to buy new parts. After spending money, the car still has the same problem! π©
The second mechanic also plugs in a diagnostic machine, but he doesn't rush to replace parts. He investigates. Why is the module not communicating? Why is the sensor not working? Is there power, earth, or a wiring problem?
He tests, follows the wiring diagram, checks the signals, and finds the real cause before replacing anything.
Car owners, please understand this: A fault code does not automatically mean the part mentioned in the code is faulty. Sometimes the problem is in the wiring, power supply, earth, or communication between modules.
A good diagnostician doesn't just read codes; they investigate the cause.
π¨βπ§ Mechanics and auto electricians: Do you diagnose the problem or replace parts based on fault codes?
π Car owners: Have you ever bought a part because of a fault code, only to find that the problem was still there? Tell us your experience in the comments!
Let's educate each other and help car owners avoid unnecessary expenses. π
