JOB VACANCY: Workshop Supervisor
Location: Lusaka
Reports To: Workshop Manager
Core Purpose
To provide guidance and support on job costing, resource allocation, and team supervision to ensure the
highest standards of automotive service and workshop efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Workflow Management: Allocate and plan workshop jobs to ensure all performance targets are met consistently.
• Technical Supervision: Manage, train, and supervise technicians to minimize "repeat jobs" and ensure all work conforms to Autoworld standards.
• Communication & Documentation: Facilitate effective communication regarding repair orders, defect reports, and work in-progress across departments to ensure smooth transactions between customers and support staff.
• Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients by providing exceptional customer service and resolving complaints in a timely manner.
• Safety & Compliance: Supervise the effective use of tools and equipment to enhance workshop safety. Ensure all staff adhere to company policies, procedures, and vehicle protection protocols (e.g., use of seat covers and floor mats).
Qualifications & Requirements
• Education: Diploma in Automotive Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience: 5–6 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within the automotive industry.
• Skills: Strong product knowledge with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong leadership and administrative capability.
