Great wash bays that can accommodate 24 bikes with strong and efficient water.

The Rotary club Odendaalsrus does all the catering on events. Food is well priced and of high quality with a big variety. All proceedings are in aid of Child Welfare

Phakisa has 24H security inside and outside the circuit with great camping facilities, bathrooms with hot water and electricity for those who want to camp at the track.

Our Track length: 1,58 km

The track is equipped with irrigation around the track. Watering usually begin on the Monday prior to the race weekend and we have two water trucks so dust will not be a problem.

A tractor and a front end loader is on standby at the track on events, should it be necessary to fix or change something.

Phakisa measures up to all the safety requirements, environmental, SAP etc.

The track also has to be one of the best fenced of tracks in SA. Crowd control has never been an issue.

By locking 4 gates, no one can access the track from the pits.

We also believe we have an exciting track for riders with the best soil in SA (references: Kerim Fitzgerald and Ian Topless.)

Our track is safe and we had over the years no serious injuries.

Welkom is well situated for riders coming from all over SA. Gauteng riders usually do races in one day +- 250 km from Welkom, which saves living out costs.
