Dear Everyone
We are writing to inform you that as a family we have taken the decision to sell our business to one of our franchisors – Motus Group (Pty) Ltd
We want to thank all our loyal customers for their support and patronage over the last 42 years. Our family and staff have always strived to provide you with the best customer experience possible with trust, care and honesty as one of the cornerstones of our business.
In many instances we have had multi-generational customers and in one specific case a family supporting us over four generations – great grandfather to great grandson! We have had the privilege of serving customers from all walks of life where many of these customers became good friends and many deals were struck over a handshake and a cup of Greek coffee. While we might not be there, always know that there will still be Greek coffee and deals will always be made – it was built that way.
We have been fortunate to have the best suppliers in the business and they certainly picked the best horse and stuck with it. We have had the privilege of spending time with our fellow franchisees on some of the most amazing trips all over the world and the in many cases mutual respect and aligned interests developed into lifelong friendships.
With a little luck, lots of hard work and immeasurable grace we have built an incredible business and are fully aware that this would have not been possible without the dedication, loyalty, and tenacity of our amazing staff. You have always cared for the business as much as us and each and everyone of you is an important part of this beautiful machine.
While it was an incredibly difficult decision we had to make, we believe that it was the right decision for our family and that we have chosen the best possible buyers who have the same family values and commitment to all customers, staff and community as we do. We wish them luck and even greater success.
It will not be easy, and we will miss everyone tremendously- so thank-you once again and always remember that ‘And the beat goes on da-da dum, da-da dum’
Charlie, Ritsa, Angie, George, Helen and kids.
