Hi everyone. Hoping you well, I have an open Vacancy for an experienced Qualified or Semi-Qualified Mechanic (Petrol & Diesel) for Big Merc’s Auto.

1. A valid driver’s license.
2. own transport is essential and the candidate must be presentable.
3. The candidate must have extensive experience working on different makes of cars, however speciality is Mercedes Benz.
4. Be able to perform Maintenance and Repair Checks before repair.
5. Check and repairs on all vehicles accurately and within a reasonable time frame and with quality of work that exceeds customer expectations.

6. Test drive vehicles.
7. Test components and systems.
8. Using equipment such as infrared engine analysers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices.
9. Plan work procedures, using charts, technical manuals, and experience.
10. Fitting all parts to the required level of expertise to the vehicle understanding that quality control is built into the repair process.
11. Discussing delays with the workshop controller.
Comply to parts processes to only order parts as per job cards.
12. Follow up on parts shortages and discrepancies not on job card.
13. Identify and accurately track all back-order parts keeping information relevant.
14. Knows, understands, and performs all duties of all mechanical/technician roles.
15. Observes and follows all necessary safety regulations when operating machinery, equipment and tools.

Applicant must be based around vereeniging/vaal for easy travel.

Company offers necessary provided benefits.
Remuneration will be based on experience.
