*BERGRIVIER MUNICIPALITY MONITORS LOCAL FUEL AVAILABILITY*
Bergrivier Municipality wishes to inform residents that it is aware of the current fuel availability challenges being experienced across South Africa.
Within the Bergrivier municipal area, the Municipality has also noted sporadic or irregular availability of diesel at certain local fuel stations. At this stage, petrol supply remains sufficient and widely available.
The Municipality is in ongoing discussions with its largest fuel suppliers and is closely monitoring the situation to ensure that any potential impact on municipal operations is managed proactively. This forms part of the Municipality’s commitment to ensure continuous service delivery to all communities within the Bergrivier Municipal Area.
The Municipality is assessing the situation on a daily basis and will keep residents informed should any fuel availability challenges result in service delivery interruptions.
Residents are encouraged to remain calm and to follow the official communication channels of the Municipality for verified updates.
Bergrivier Municipality remains committed to keeping the public informed and to taking the necessary steps to minimise any possible disruption to municipal services.

Bergrivier Munisipaliteit is bewus van die huidige uitdagings rondom brandstofbeskikbaarheid wat landwyd in Suid-Afrika ervaar word.
Binne die Bergrivier Munisipale Gebied het die Munisipaliteit ook sporadiese beskikbaarheid van diesel by bepaalde plaaslike vulstasies opgemerk. Op hierdie stadium is die petrolvoorsiening steeds voldoende en wyd beskikbaar.
Die Munisipaliteit is gereeld in kontak met sy grootste brandstofverskaffers en hou die situasie noukeurig dop, om te verseker dat enige potensiële impak op munisipale operasies proaktief bestuur word. Dit vorm deel van die Munisipaliteit se verbintenis om deurlopende dienslewering aan alle gemeenskappe binne die Bergrivier Munisipale Gebied te verseker.
Die Munisipaliteit evalueer die situasie daagliks en sal inwoners onmiddellik in kennis stel indien enige uitdagings met brandstofbeskikbaarheid tot onderbrekings in dienslewering lei.
Inwoners word aangemoedig om kalm te bly en die amptelike kommunikasiekanale van die Munisipaliteit te volg vir geverifieerde inligting.
