A successful 8 month project has now been completed just needing a few final touches vehicle has been tested and successfully driven 6000km under testing vehicle was originally a td5 manual that now has been completely converter to a td5 auto with a dual map and still has a sports mode we are still refining the map to make more power and fuel economy the auto is such a dream to drive with a heavy duty torque converter the main wiring harness has been sourced and completely stripped down repaired to the highest standard faults monitored to ensure no canbus faults and drivering errors many hours of research and information has been made to make my dream vehicle drive beautifully the transmission oil cooling has been completely customized for optimum cooling so far running well with in specs I took the opportunity to have my seats recovered and a upgraded radio fitted and much to spare that everything works just like it left factory. The aircon system has been revamped as well

Heat shielding has been fitted to reduce cabin noise and heat, and the transfer box has been overhauled due to leakage. The engine was completely overhauled by an engineering company and refitted after painting the firewall and some wiring to extras was done. It turned out to be an outstanding project.

A oil feed ring problem made for low oil pressure. solution was to machine 1 out of aluminum and press fit into housing now it under testing to see if anything else is in need of a upgrade. All on a R380 gearbox
