Cambelt/Timing belt change is a very important part of your vehicle maintenace schedule. Every manufacturer will give you the kilometer interval in the service manual. It averages between 90 000 km and 120 000km or between 4 - 6 years. Some engines arr interference engines which means that if the cambelt breaks, it will cause the valve timing to move and damage the valves. This could cause a huge expense.
