How can we build a strong team in a leadership role?
Leading in any position requires support from others, and to gather that support, each person needs to feel their presence is valued.
One reason why some people fail as leaders isn't because of their own qualities but because they fail to recognize the qualities of their team members. When people feel their contributions aren't acknowledged or aren't making a difference, they often remain demotivated.
To build effective teams, team members need to feel motivated. Appreciate each person’s strengths and align their goals to build a stronger team. Appreciation will make them fully involved, and you will see better results as a leader.
