A few photos from the HelderbergFM 93.6 live broadcast from Hibernian Towers marking the end of their "Silver hair is Solid Gold" which we supported. With the assistance of Subaru Southern Africa we were able to donate R90,000 to this cause. This drive was aimed at providing some essentials to the elderly of the Helderberg basin, many of them forgotten in old age facilities and unable to purchase basic everyday items such as tooth paste, soap etc. Subaru's donation stems from the Caring is Sharing campaign which ran recently whereby Subaru SA donated R5000 for every new vehicle sold. Our monetary donation has gone to purchasing blankets which will form part of the care packs.
