MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Grade 12 qualification/ equivalent.
• 3 - 5 years’ Dealership experience in a cashier position.
• Computer literacy skills and experience with Drive IA.
• Clean criminal record.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Issue receipts for all payments made to the company in respect of debtor’s accounts, parts purchases or service jobs, whether in the form of cash, cheque, credit card or speed point as per company policy.
• Ensure that money received from the various departments is received on time and that payments are checked respectively.
• Ensure that the float issued to the departments balances daily.
• Ensure that all payments received are locked away safely.
• Bank all payments the following morning following company policy procedure.
• File all documentation in an orderly manner.
• Always maintain a neat personal appearance and friendly manner.
• Ensure clean, neat and tidy appearance of reception area to ensure proper image of dealership is maintained.
• Assist with clerical administration as requested.
