I’m reviewing the new Audi S3 Sportback facelift, and this one has Akrapovic pipes fitted 👀

The updated S3 now gives you 245 kW, 420 Nm, quattro all-wheel drive and a claimed 0 to 100 km/h time of 4.7 seconds.

It looks sharper, sounds better and sits in a very interesting space: fast enough to feel special, but still more usable and more attainable than an RS3.

So the question is simple: do you really need the RS3, or is the S3 the sweet spot?

I’m reviewing the BMW X3 20 Pure Design in South Africa.

This version of the new X3 takes a slightly different approach. It is not trying to be the sportiest-looking model in the range. Instead, it focuses on elegance, comfort, premium design and that clean BMW SUV feel.

It uses a 2.0-litre turbo petrol mild-hybrid engine, producing 148 kW and 335 Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

But is the Pure Design the sweet spot in the X3 range, or would you rather go M Sport or diesel?

I’m reviewing the Jetour T2 Odyssey XWD, the flagship petrol 4WD version of the T2 range in South Africa.

This SUV has become a massive talking point, especially now that the Jetour T2 has won the 2026 South African Car of the Year title.

For R679,900, the Odyssey gives you a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, 180 kW, 375 Nm, XWD all-wheel drive, bold adventure styling and a very long list of comfort, tech and safety features.

But does it actually deserve the hype?
