Behind the Build: 2015 VW Crafter XLWB 🚐

I believe in sharing the full story behind this project. To date, the investment in this van—covering the base vehicle and extensive exterior and interior overhaul—is currently over R 456 000.

This is a personal build completed with love and longevity in mind intended for our own pleasure, It is a technician-led project, not a low budget conversion. We have not finished our project but have no option but to let it go. Heartbroken but cannot change facts.

Final pricing and purchase details will be discussed beginning Saturday, 04 July. We realise that we may never get a full return on our investment and we might be open to reasonable offers. What we will NOT entertain are time wasting people with ridiculous prices.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

* This is not a 'perfect' van and has been used.
* This van if bought will require numerous things to be completed.
* All the important mechanical work has been completed by professionals and finishing would require mid level 'handy-man' skills.
* The aluminium framework cannot be beaten and is exceptionally strong.
* Most of the build around the frame is high grade PVC board that has no chance of rotting like most materials used. PVC can lay in water for months with no damage.
* If you want a van and are prepared to get yourself / family / friends involved in finishing it off, then this is the one for you. Not another one like it in this country.
* If you expecting a perfect finish then this is not for you and I can help direct you to ones that cost 2mil and up.
* Changing of the vehicle to Motorised Caravan status in not complete but in progress. Its not actually a difficult process but it just takes time. After that it will be code 8 but 10 for now.
* Will be updating regularly inbetween a hectic business schedule.

REMEMBER:

We can only sell to one fortunate person / couple and that is not going to be difficult to accomplish.
