There has been so much emphasis placed on the laws of the CPA ( Consumer protection act) , which in effect, has forced the bigger companies to treat their customers with far more respect.

Our business will be turning 37 yrs old this this year , and where I come from , there is no need to have a law tell us how to behave.

The customer must come first, and by that I mean that it is the dealers responsibility, to make sure that the vehicle he buys , and sells are right...both mechanically and structurally. If this is done right at the outset, then there is no need for them to worry about the CPA.

There are however massive companies that have bypassed this law ,by selling under the auction laws....They dont break the law but bend them severely...and not only that , they state quite clearly that they would buy every car on the market, which is the definition of a monopoly of an industry.

All fair in love and war...

Its for this reason, that I am constantly on the look out for well looked after, fully serviced vehicles, which I am prepared to pay strong for .
